Hamilton in pre-game warm-ups.

Pulaski, WI—Hamilton went on their longest road trip of the season to face a Pulaski team that beat them 26-7 last season. But this year brought a new season and a much different result. After the first twenty minutes was fought to a stalemate, Jessie Endries, junior, took a long run in for a score and Hamilton never looked back, defeating Pulaski 38-5 on their home field.

Not long after the opening score, Pulaski got to see the speed of state champion track star, Morgan Price, senior, who used her speed to run around the Pulaski defense for her second try of the season.

Hannah Pfersch, junior, added another that looked a lot like the one she scored last week against Madison/Fox Valley. In both cases, Elise Rades, senior, ran the ball through the line before off-loading to Pfersch for a long breakaway score. It was the last score of the half, which ended with a 19-0 Hamilton lead.
Hamilton found themselves with another try as Chloe Miller, junior, went through the Pulaski back line like a wrecking ball before going on a long run through an open field. Five minutes later, Price shook off a tackle and scored her second try of the day.

Pulaski was able to win a series of rucks in the second half that led to their first and only try, closing the gap to a 31-5 deficit, but Alex Werra’s, senior, long run put the game to bed.

Werra hit on four out of her six kicks. She almost made an impressive kick from the outside on Endries opening score, but it was rejected by the post.

–Three Hamilton players beat or tied the Hamilton record for tackles in a game (14): Sydney Raymond (25), Pfersch (17), Savanna Thorne (14).
–Caralynn Doese, freshman, made her debut as starter.
–Werra leads the team with points scored this season with 19.
