Sussex, WI– Sussex Hamilton High School held their first graduation ceremony on Grove Field and 16 current and former Harriers walked across the stage to receive their diploma and head off to 11 different universities across the country.
Hamilton RFC’s first graduating class was in 2018 was only three students large, so the size of this year’s class was a significant departure for the team, which they hope to off-set by starting the team’s first middle school program this summer. While no players from the 2018 class went on to continue their rugby careers in college, a handful of this year’s graduating class are considering keeping their rugby careers alive, including founding team member Calla Dane at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
