Nashotah, WI– Hamilton’s Division 1 sevens side extended their unbeaten streak to 12 games. The team improves their varsity record to 26-4-1 in 7s since the team began playing sevens rugby in 2018. They now have a stranglehold on what would be their second-straight state D1 title, after winning both the D1 and D2 titles in 2019.
After a rocky start in the first stop, Hamilton’s D2 improved their 1-3 record by going nearly unbeaten in Nashotah, finishing 1-1-2 , as the girls on the developmental side continue to show great progress.
The Chargers will finish the series on 6/5 in Oshkosh where they expect to added the state title to a trophy case that already includes two cups from 2021 spring play. They will complete their season by competing in the Lakefront 7s tournament at the end of June.
