Sussex, WI–Next weekend senior Hannah Pfersch heads out to California to play for USA Rugby (U-18) in a game against Canada (U-18). Pfersch was invited to tryout for the USA Rugby U-18 team with teammates Morgan Price and Chloe Miller after their performance at the Midwest Regional Cup tournament. Pfersch is one of two athletes from Wisconsin on the team, Aly Cunningham (Catholic Memorial).

HANNAH PFERSCH QUICK PROFILE
- Captained Hamilton to a state championship in 7s rugby and a 3rd place finish in 15s rugby.
- Selected as tour captain for the Wisconsin All-Star team in an undefeated campaign to win USA Rugby’s Regional Cup Tournament.
- Earned a full scholarship to Quinnipiac University, winners of three of the last four national championships.
- Invited to join the USA Rugby U-20 camp this summer, the last step before joining the national and Olympic team.
- Created the school’s first middle school rugby team and coached 20 girls to a 2nd place finish in their final tournament, playing co-ed teams.
- Ranked 14th in her class with a 4.19 GPA.
