Muskego, WI–It was only five years ago that Hamilton was starting out as a new team and losing games by wide margains. Fast forward to 2021, and the Chargers find themselves on the bright side of a big 71-0 win against Muskego, a new team in the WGR. The result surpasses a 60-0 win against Madison in 2018, as the team’s biggest win.
Five Hamilton players scored a brace, two tries, in the game: Rachel Rank, Emma Kennedy, Ronny Ruedinger, Grace Strelow, and Izzy Niebler. Ayana Phelps scored a solo try off a ruck with a scrum half pick.
Meghan Rank went 8 for 11 in conversion kicks. Those 16 points were the second-most scored in a 15s game by Hamilton player. She also holds the team record with her 19-point performance in the team’s last game, against SPASH.
Emma Kennedy had the highlight of the game by zipping through the Muskego back line and picking off their pass for a breakaway try.
